The summer has been very busy with lots of events again from here in Surrey, down to Dorset, and up towards Oxford.
One of things I love about going to the shows is meeting the people who come along to my stand. It is always great to get the feedback in person from people who are either new customers or returning customers. The feedback is great, as it inspires me to keep going, and confirms that people are happy and impressed with the quality and longevity of my products.

At the beginning of September I jumped in at the deep end and had a stall at the Autumn Fair at the NEC. It went well and I got several leads that I am currently following up. It was a great show to attend with some lovely stall holders next to me, so it was really great to compare notes and enjoy the show together. One such person is someone who I’ve followed since I started my business who started in their kitchen like me and who has managed to get the lucky break you need and is now operating from a very large industrial unit with several staff an machines to help her, very inspiring!!
In the last week I’ve just been awarded ‘Best Sustainable Artisan Soap & Candle Business 2023 – UK’ which is another lovely flag to fly. It is increasingly more important to show awareness to the environment so it is a real honour to have won such an award.
